For over 40 years, we’ve proudly served the garment and bridal care needs of Central Michigan. Jan’s Bridal Care is the sister company of Jan’s Professional Dry Cleaning. We are proudly woman-owned and operated by our namesake, Jan Barlow, a certified garment care professional and one of only 22 people in the world to have earned three certifications from the National Fabricare Institute. We offer professional wedding gown cleaning, alterations, restoration and preservation services for brides throughout the Clio, Michigan area. At Jan’s Bridal Care, we understand no two weddings or gowns are the same. My daughter, whose wedding is in North Carolina, made an appointment with Jan's Dry Cleaners and Bridal in Clio, MI to alter her wedding gown. What an amazing experience! Carolyn, the seamstress, immediately put us at ease with her sweet demeanor and calm disposition. Carolyn has many years of wedding gown alteration experience and it showed. She explained what she was doing to the gown and why.. When we came for the second and final fitting, she again explained what we needed to do the day of the wedding. She even demonstrated how to bustle the gown, what tools were needed, and had me practice till I felt comfortable. The gown was then perfectly pressed by the staff and ready for the big day as we headed to the Outer Banks of North Carolina for the wedding. I would highly recommend Jan's Professional Dry Cleaners and Bridal for all your needs. In addition to my daughters bridal gown, Jan's also cleaned and pressed all the vintage doilies and linen napkins that will be used for the wedding dinner.
